The entire Yeats College team extends our heartfelt congratulations to our students who received their Leaving Cert exam results today.

An ecstatic Anoushka Gowda from Knocknacarra scored the maximum 625 points in her Leaving Certificate exams.

Overall, it was a fair paper with a nice choice of questions, which students were happy with.

The exam maintained the usual distribution of core questions in Sections A and B, with Section C requiring an in-depth response to one studied question, a deviation from the earlier format of two questions.

This physics paper was a fair exam that the well-prepared student would have welcomed. This was a nice paper that allowed the students to show off their knowledge of physics and not seek to catch anyone out.

An exam with a few surprises but nothing that couldn’t be figured out by reading the questions carefully and taking some time to answer.

There were no surprises in Section A of the paper. Students were delighted to see that Question 1 was the vinegar titration (which was expected as it had not been examined since 2016).
