The Yeats College annual Christmas Concert took place in December, 2011. A number of students took part and performed a variety of musical acts. Both female and male students had solo performances accompanied by backing tracks or live band. A number of students played instruments including the saxophone, double base, drums and guitars. There was a lively mixture of solo and group performances. We also had a crowd pleasing performance from the Yeats College Ceili Band which consisted of skilled tin whistle, bodhran, fiddle and concertina playing. One of the many highlights of the night was the Irish dancing display from one student, an All-Ireland champion dancer. A full professional stage and lighting system was in place, ensuring a memorable night for students and staff alike.
