Congratulations to Yeats College Galway student Beibhinn Parsons who sealed Irelands win yesterday (Feb 2nd) with an impressive intercept try!! The Irish Womens Senior team took on Scotland in the 6 Nations in Energia Park with a final score of Ireland 18-14 Scotland.
Beibhinn ran the length of the pitch to score the impressive try and give Ireland an 11 point lead. Scotland fought back coming within 4 points. Ireland take on Wales next weekend. We are so proud of Beibhinn and the work she is doing both on the pitch and in the classroom!
