Irish Paper One really was a delightful paper.
The Listening Comprehension questions were very student-friendly. Topics were in line with questions asked in previous years, spanning a range of subjects from emigration to Irish language and culture. The speed of the dialogues gave students ample time to decipher the answers.
Students were generally very happy with the Listening Comprehension exam.
Moving on to the Ceapadóireacht section, there certainly was something for everybody. Students had a great choice with a wide range of titles. Topics included news stories of today; the lives of young people; politicians and politics; Ireland of today and the list goes on.
All in all, a very nice Irish Paper One.
