Yeats College students to visit CERN, Switzerland

We are all excited today as we have just booked a trip to CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. At this facility in Geneva physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. They use the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments to study the basic constituents of matter – the fundamental particles.
Students will stay in Geneva and visit the facility while also taking in other interesting sights in this exciting capital of Switzerland. Other visits include the The Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum, a visit to a chocolate factory and a trip into the French Alps to spend a day in the beautiful town of Annecy.
