Securing a place on your top course preference is a validation of all the work and effort you have put into your studies, and you should feel very proud.
Remember also that there are many potential routes into what you want to achieve academically. The decisions you make today will impact your future, both educationally and personally. Be conscious that accepting a CAO offer is an important decision, so consider all options and be wary of accepting a place on a course if your heart is not in it.
The option of repeating the Leaving Certificate is also open to you and you should certainly not view repeating as a setback. For many it will be the most direct route to their primary ambition. This has been the reality for numerous students in recent years.
Re-taking your Leaving Certificate exam is another proactive step towards achieving your goals.
